TopStack™ is a blended training program. This means that the program is delivered online through video lessons, interviews with industry experts, and interactive exercises; and offline through applying learned skills in what we call “action assignments” to apply the learned concepts to the trainees’ specific distribution center. In short, TopStack™ provides the need-to-know information, frameworks and skills breakdown in a structured way, divided up into digestible modules and lessons.
It’s different for several reasons: specific content, accessibility, application, and verification of learned skills. This is the only course that has been developed specifically for distribution center managers and supervisors in the food distribution center industry. This course is accessible in a flexible virtual format where a new or developing supervisors and managers can access the content around their busy schedule and still be able to complete a best-of-breed training course. This course also assesses quizzes to ensure that trainees understand the covered concepts and know the information that they need to excel as a leader in their d.c. TopStack™ is based on more than 20 years of industry experience delivering leadership and management training that is really, really good and targeted at helping managers achieve excellent results.
The program is essential for new distribution center supervisors or managers that are hired in from other industries, but even those in a position of leadership or responsibility could value immensely from the program. It’s not a remedial training course, but everybody can use a refresher to sharpen the saw — especially if they never received structured training to begin with.
It’s easy. Simply click the ‘Courses’ button in the menu and select the course date for when you’d like to start. Enter the student information (and your direct supervisor, if requested), submit a credit card payment, and click ‘Purchase’. Once you are registered, you will receive a welcome e-mail with access instructions and how to access the live course kickoff webinar.
The course consists of ten (10) modules each of which are focused on an element of supervisory and management effectiveness. Each module has between three and five lessons that take an average of ten minutes to complete. It takes about an hour a week to complete the coursework plus an additional 15-30 minutes to complete the action assignments that apply the content to your specific facility. But, the assignments can — and should — be integrated into the trainees’ shift.
The course costs $799 (USD) per each course attendee. We also offer bulk rates for companies that want to send a few people through the program at the same time.
TopStack™ only takes credit or charge cards for course registration. Payment is processed using Stripe (which is what may be displayed on your credit card statement).
Payment is made when you register for the course.
Once you are registered, you will receive instructions on how to access the kickoff webinar that starts the program. You will be able to access the first module after the kickoff webinar.
Issues do sometimes arise. We strongly encourage course participants to reach out if they have any technical problems or do not understand any element of the course. Our team will respond no later than one business day, but typically we will respond within a few hours.
It is generally necessary to complete the course in order. The content starts with foundational information and gets more specific (and difficult) as the program moves forward. Also, the action assignments and quizzes build on each other each week so it’s important to finish each module starting a new one.
An Internet connection, browser, and a desktop computer/laptop is recommended for the course lessons. The program is designed to be accessible on virtually any device.

Once you submit your payment, you will receive a confirmation email and a welcome email with access instructions for the kickoff webinar. To make things easy and for security purposes, TopStack™ currently only accepts credit cards for payment.
No refunds will be given once the course starts. However, in some exceptions seats may be transferred to another trainee should an issue arise. Contact us for details.
